FOUNDATIONAL DOCUMENTS

THE 2nd LONDON BAPTIST CONFESSION OF FAITH

The Holy Bible is the final and only authority in all matters of faith and practice. We accept and adopt the Second London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689 because we believe it to be an accurate and faithful expression of the system of doctrine taught in the Bible and understood by the church throughout history. We do not hold this confession of faith to be above or equal to the Holy Scriptures, rather we accept it as assistance in controversy, a confirmation in faith, and an instrument of edification and instruction. This confession provides every member with a compact body of divinity so that, by means of the scriptural proofs, each one can be ready to give a reason for the hope that is in him.

OUR CATECHISM

The Baptist Catechism of 1693 is useful in teaching, both young and old, the biblical doctrines so beautifully expressed in our confession of faith.  We do have A Catechism for Boys & Girls that we walk through with our children every Lord’s Day.

THE BYLAWS OF REDEEMING GRACE CHURCH

We, the members of Redeeming Grace Church Church, have ordained and established the above Articles, to which we voluntarily and solemnly submit ourselves.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

This Statement of Faith is meant to briefly communicate the essence of our beliefs. For a more detailed statement concerning the beliefs of Redeeming Grace Chuch, please see the 2nd London Baptist Confession of Faith (1689).

STRATEGIC FRAMEWORK

The Strategic Framework of Redeeming Grace Church is a document that expresses our mission, vision, and values in the context of our life together as a church family.

MEMBER COVENANT

This document expresses the covenant that the people of Redeeming Grace Church enter into with one another and with the elders of the church when becoming members. This covenant will be renewed annually and corporately in a regularly scheduled worship service in the Fall of each year.

MEMBERSHIP PROCESS

The elders of Redeeming Grace Church have been entrusted with the responsibility and privilege of shepherding the flock of God (1 Peter 5:1-4). In order to effectively provide pastoral care, the elders have deemed it best to establish this membership process and to encourage all who attend Redeeming Grace to progress through it.
