MEN OF GRACE

Mission Alignment

The Men’s Ministry at Redeeming Grace Church exists to glorify God by equipping men to be faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. We partner together in the Church’s mission to make disciples and witness to the world (Matthew 28:18–20), striving to raise up godly men who love God, love others, and live out their faith in every sphere of life.

Vision

Our vision is to see every man at Redeeming Grace Church mature in Christ (Colossians 1:28), marked by spiritual vitality, theological depth, godly character, and servant leadership in their homes, church, workplaces, and communities.

We desire to form a brotherhood of men who:

  • Walk with God in humility and joy.

  • Lead their families with courage and love.

  • Serve the church with integrity and faithfulness.

  • Proclaim Christ to a watching world.

Core Commitments

1. Gospel-Centered Discipleship

We believe that the gospel is the power of God for salvation and sanctification. The Men’s Ministry will help men know and apply the gospel to their lives, equipping them through Bible studies, mentorship, and doctrinal training grounded in the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith.

2. Biblical Manhood

We affirm the God-ordained distinctions and complementary roles of men and women (Genesis 1:26–28; Ephesians 5:23–25). The Men’s Ministry will help men embrace their calling to lead, provide for, and protect their families and church as servant-leaders who reflect Christ’s character.

3. Intentional Relationships

Spiritual growth thrives in community. Our ministry will foster relationships of accountability, brotherhood, and mutual encouragement through small groups, prayer partnerships, and service opportunities (Proverbs 27:17; Hebrews 10:24–25).

4. Holiness and Integrity

As followers of Christ, men are called to be holy in conduct (1 Peter 1:13–16). We will encourage and exhort men to pursue purity, integrity, and godliness in all areas of life, standing firm against temptation and cultivating spiritual disciplines.

5. Mission and Multiplication

We equip men to be disciple-makers—evangelizing the lost, mentoring younger men, and multiplying leaders for the church and home (2 Timothy 2:2). Our goal is for every man to be on mission, using his gifts to serve Christ’s body and reach others.

Strategic Practices

  • Men’s Bible Studies: Expository and topical studies rooted in Scripture to develop theological literacy and personal holiness.

  • Men’s Gatherings and Retreats: Quarterly events or annual retreats that focus on building community, worship, teaching, and rest.

  • Mentorship & Discipleship Tracks: One-on-one and group discipleship pathways, especially for new believers and young men.

  • Leadership Development: Training men to serve as elders, deacons, teachers, and leaders in various church ministries.

  • Family Discipleship Support: Encouraging men to be spiritual leaders in their homes through practical tools and teaching.

Oversight and Accountability

The Men’s Ministry operates under the direction of the Elder Board and in partnership with the Discipleship Ministry Team. Leaders and mentors within the ministry will be approved, equipped, and held accountable to the church’s doctrinal standards and leadership qualifications.
